Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Muna Real Estate Limited and Chairman, Millennium Group of Companies, Eze Munachino Obinna has unveiled plans for a new city project.

Obinna, an expert in property investment and management, disclosed that the new project will be named Millennium City, adding that it had been published in his study on Challenges Facing The City And The Urgent Need To Build A New City: Case Study Of Enugu.

Millennium City is a project based on a “New City”, which is championed by Millennium Trade Solution Limited, a subsidiary of Millennium Group of Companies.

The new city is inspired by Obinna’s vision to add value to society and solve housing and infrastructure problems in the South East. Just like the way United Arab Emirate UAE turned a desert into a world-class city, he wants to turn an existing city into a more efficient and conducive living environment.

Speaking further, he noted that Enugu, just like every other city in Nigeria, has challenges of inadequate infrastructure, pollution, bad roads, congestion, traffic, lack of water and electricity and insecurity, among others, hence the need for a new and more functional city.

He explained that Millennium Group of Companies is a conglomerate in Nigeria, comprising the Millennium Trade Solutions, Millennium Concierge, Millennium Maestro Atelier, Millennium Entertainment and Millennium Couture.

Obinna further stated that the company has a presence in major sectors, especially in private equity investment, architecture, tours and travels, real estate, construction and infrastructure development, which specialise in sourcing, acquiring, managing, and maximising the potential of local and international property investments.
